Official Release Date Confirmed for the Upcoming Daima DLC Part 1 for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

As finally announced by a new official trailer, the second DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be released on April 24 containing all new characters from the Dragon Ball Daima anime. The official trailer has also confirmed the previous leak which had suggested that several new characters from Daima are headed to Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero as part of the Daima DLC Part 1 and will release on the same date. And the new trailer has not just confirmed the previously leaked release date but all the new playable characters included in the DLC as well, and they are:

  • Goku (Mini) Super Saiyan
  • Vegeta (Mini)
  • Vegeta (Mini) Super Saiyan
  • Vegeta (Mini) Super Saiyan 2
  • Vegeta (Mini) Super Saiyan 3
  • Glorio
  • Panzy
  • Majin Kuu

The name of these characters were also included in the leak, so it can be said that the leaked information might actually be intentional to tease the release of a new DLC.

Vegeta fans will surely be in for a delight as the new DLC is set to feature three new versions of the character. Also, the previous DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, named Hero of Justice, was largely criticized for adding characters that were more of a re-skin of the pre-existing ones but as the upcoming DLC is based on Dragon Ball Daima, it’s safe to say that the characters it adds to the already massive roster of Sparking Zero will be entirely new.

And as hinted by the name of the upcoming DLC, another DLC is also currently in the works containing the rest of the characters from Daima which will include the whole new transformation for Goku resembling the iconic Super Saiyan 4 originally from Dragon Ball GT. It really goes without saying that the next DLC will be extremely exciting and worth waiting for.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero came out on 7th October 2024 for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the PC platform. The beat-em-up was released to generally positive reviews from the critics and quickly became a huge commercial success with over five million units sold worldwide.
