Nutty Dungeons is an interesting twist to dungeon crawlers

Nutty Dungeons is quite the nutty title for a game, and yet, the clever idea of subverting how the genre plays out is amusing. In Nutty Dungeons, you take the role of a Kobold who is tasked with designing dungeons. You can then test how good it is by doing a play test run and figuring out your own machinations. The most important feature is the ability to upload your creations online, sharing them with the rest of the Kobold pack. You are also able to test out the levels made by other players in the game. We at Infinite Start wish to give a spotlight to such an innovative idea in gaming.

Nutty Dungeons is interesting

The game will release on PC, with no proper announcement for other platforms. The Steam trailer shows is some interesting features, such a on the go play testing with an editor. This is the title many should think about when the name “Dungeon Master” is uttered. There has been attempts in the genre at making you play as the maker of dungeons, but all of those often played like some sort of resource based simulation game.

Nutty Dungeons is meant to be the Super Mario Maker of the genre, and it seems to be shaping up to be epic. A beta is coming soon for PC players to test out, so it would be wise to help out the developer behind it and give constructive feedback when the chance arrives. Indies games never cease to surprise me, coming out with interesting new takes into what some can consider overdone.

The lifeblood of this industry are the indie developers themselves, and we should make sure that they get the recognition they deserve. If you are interested in building your own dungeon and being sadistic while doing so, you can wish list this new game to boost the developer.
