One of the most hotly anticipated titles of the year, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to receive a hefty new patch named Title Update 1.0.2 for all platforms on April 8 @ 2 pm UTC / 10 am EDT / 7 am PT. The new patch will bring tons of gameplay and technical improvements to Assassin’s Creed Shadows along with new visual features and enhancements for the PS5 Pro version of the game, so if you’re currently playing the recently released open world title, make sure to update your game today as it’s going to vastly improve your gameplay experience in a myriad of ways.
One of the main gameplay improvements that this new patch will bring is the Auto-Follow option for players while they’re on horseback, a feature that was present in several of the previous Assassin’s Creed games but was completely absent in Assassin’s Creed Shadows at launch. Horse speeds in cities has also been increased a bit, for making sure the flow of the gameplay is consistent in the larger areas of the game.
Other gameplay additions include the option to sell/dismantle multiple items in shops, resetting Mastery nodes in the skill trees for the characters, new shortcut for direct access to the game’s investigation board and many more.
Here are some of the patch notes which focus on more gameplay improvements in Assassin’s Creed Shadows:
