Manor Lords Gears Up for Big 2025 Updates

Slavic Magic’s medieval city-building strategy game, Manor Lords, will be getting a big update in 2025 that will bring a full set of new features and enhancements to the game, making it even way better than previous versions. The update will bring greater immersion and strategic depth to the gameplay experience. Polish developer Grzegorz Styczeń shared a detailed update on the features currently in active development.

One of the heavily awaited new maps is a new map named Devil’s Hill. The map features a large central hill, which presents unique strategic possibilities and challenges for players. Besides that, the game developers also propose implementing a new game mode based on this map where the battle for precious resources is ongoing at the top of the hill and thus resulting in savage medieval battles.

The Castle Planner itself is also being heavily upgraded. Players will have more control over castle construction, with the option to customize individual modules and tweak walls. Platforms that include battlements will also be incorporated into the game, enabling further depth and variety in defensive structures.

As a reaction to player criticism, Slavic Magic is restructuring the game’s progression system. What they desire is a better, more authentic experience based on history, with the same amounts of fun and entertainment the game offers. The developers are trying out a number of designs to achieve the perfect balance of realism, historical accuracy, and gameplay.

Apart from these fundamental changes, the update will also introduce AI-driven towns more intelligent and difficult to manage. New maps with diverse terrain, fishing ponds as an alternative source of food and crossbows to add diversity to combat are the regular developer updates.

With these coming updates, Manor Lords will be providing a deeper and more immersive experience for city-building fans. Historical realism coupled with creative game mechanics will be keeping players building and planning for hours to come.
