File Size and Preload Details Unveiled for Forza Horizon 5 on the Playstation 5

Ahead of it’s official release date of April 29 on the Playstation 5, details about Forza Horizon 5’s download size and preload dates have been revealed. User @PlaystationSize, through a post on Twitter/X has confirmed that the total download size of the upcoming and highly anticipated Forza Horizon 5 on the Playstation 5 is 131.922 GB, which is pretty reasonable for an Open World racing title in the current gen of gaming.

Also, file sizes for additional contents such as the Hot Wheels expansion is 9.474 GB while the Rally Adventure expansion weighs at a 15.489 GB. The Preload for the Standard Edition of Forza Horizon 5 will be available from April 27, while Preload for the Premium Edition of the Open World racing game will start from April 23.

And as reported earlier, players will need to link a Microsoft Account to their Playstation Network account to be able to play Forza Horizon 5.

Players on the PS5 can experience Forza Horizon 5 in two visual quality presets, the Performance mode which will offer a silky-smooth 60 FPS while Quality mode targets 30 FPS with full ray-traced reflections during both races and free roam. Also if you have the PS5 Pro, you’ll be able to get enhanced visual fidelity in the game’s Performance mode which will likely be the best way to experience the game on the Sony platform.

Also, in other news of Forza Horizon 5, the Open World racing title has recently hit over 45 million players worldwide, and the staggering player count is sure to increase significantly more after the game’s launch on the Playstation 5.

Forza Horizon 5 was released for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass in November 2021, and is set to launch for the PlayStation 5 on April 29. The game received wide critical acclaim upon release and is currently one of the most well-reviewed titles in the racing genre.
