Evil Dead gets delisted from storefronts in 2025, fans worry

Evil Dead The Game seems to still be up in the Steam store however, but many fans fear that Saber Interactive is planning to pull the plug on it. PC players seemed to have enjoyed this game, but the reality is that this is yet another live service, which has become quite the ironic name lately. Some Live Services like Concord have only lasted a few days, yet it seems that Sony remains unscathed after such a blunder investment. People still wonder if Live Service games are money laundering schemes, and taking into account the budget behind them, it makes sense they are. We at Infinite Start will cover what happens with Evil Dead.

Evil Dead might go offline

It seems that people might be right about the game going offline. However, the game has suffered a ton from constant updates. The Evil Class has been nerfed due to complaints from newbish players who do not want to lose the game. This has caused that playing the game as the Evil is actually a huge disadvantage. Imagine if nobody wanted to play Imposter role in Among Us, and each time someone gets it, they disconnect from the game.

This is the current state on the Evil Dead game, hard to find games, hard to play with others, and a community that does not seem positive in the slightest. Saber Interactive might be considering to pull the plug on this one, instead of giving more power to the Evil. Games are supposed to be a challenge, yet, people seem to be against the thing that makes games so very fun.

Society has conditioned the new generation of gamers and people to just seek the easy things, to never challenge themselves. While it is true that time is a finite resource nowadays, games should be able to be enjoyed. Maybe implementing different skill level lobbies might be a solution, but Live Service titles are inherently flawed.
