EA Games is truly scummy. Not only they do not care about their PC gamers but they also neglect their workforce on the daily. Thanks to this, an entire new game for Titanfall had to be scrapped. In the meanwhile, CEOs get a bigger pay rate as this happens, cementing the fact that this is done out of greed. With no proper statement around that sounds convincing, we can assume that EA Games only wants for money to flow quickly, for they are in times of crisis according to them. Gamers know well enough that EA Games is the scourge of this industry, and we should demonstrate them that fact by not buying their soulless titles.
People gave light upon this topic. At least 400 layoffs have been confirmed, with more that go under the rug to not make it seems weird. Out of this confirmed dip in personnel, 100 of them were people who were in charge of the Titanfall franchise. This has enraged many fans of Titanfall, and is currently causing a spur that continues even now. EA Games have planned to include ads in their games to monetize even further.
People already get addicted to toxic microtransactions thanks to them, and now they plan to do even more. Back in the day, old gamers knew that EA Games was a disaster, as they were responsible for killing the Ultima franchise with their greed. People are getting fed up with this terrible company, and they wish to see it go down.
The best thing we can do, is to try and vote with our wallets, a studio where people get abused on the daily does not deserve your money. Alas, people often speak lies with their mouth, but tell the truth with their wallet, and some still wish to consume slop.
