Deep Rock Galactic Rogue Core gets new trailer in 2025

Deep Rock Galactic Rogue Core finally got a trailer, and PC players are hyped. The original Deep Rock Galactic garnered some massive success at the height of the COVID Pandemic, and it truly brought light in such dark days for many. Thankfully, the developers haven’t given up in updating and keeping the game full of content for players to do, and it truly is one of the best multiplayer experiences. It is rare to see games that incentivize cooperation, rather than mindless competition, thrive like Deep Rock Galactic did. It is a good change of pace however, and many people agree that the community seems to be less toxic than others.

Deep Rock goes roguelite

Deep Rock Galactic Rogue Core has opted to go the Roguelite way to appeal to the current indie trends that remain the same. However, the cooperative aspect still remains, and 4 players will be able to engage in action to survive the mines. This is one of the biggest strengths of the title, and it is nice to see them keeping it alive in another game. Many times before, companies have tried to reinvent formulas for already established franchises, and it went terribly wrong.

It does not seem that there’s plans for removing cooperation from the series, and it would be fatal to do so since that’s the identity of the game. The social aspect of cooperative games is an important one that has managed to keep plenty of games afloat, such as Stardew Valley. Originally, people believed that Deep Rock Galactic Rogue Core would be a DLC, but developers said that making it a DLC would perhaps overshadow the original title.

Ghost Ship also wanted to ensure that this game could fully expand to be its own different thing that appeals to those who are tired of playing the same old game. Rather than making a huge update that changes the previous one, it is good to respect those players who still wish to play the classic experience.
