Bethesda confirms Oblivion Remastered won’t support mods

Bethesda confirms that Oblivion Remastered does not support mods. The only reason for this release to be worth it would have been the modding capabilities, sadly PC gamers got the short end of the stick. Modding is the heart and soul of the PC gaming community, and these news have already shocked many fans. One can argue that the majority of people have actually played Skyrim by using mods, after all, that game was a mess at launch, and needed tons of fan fixes. The Elder Scrolls series is known for being quite, let’s say, untested and erratic, and it is no different here. We at Infinite Start will cover this sad news for PC gamers.

Bethesda confirms, and fans rage

Shills are starting to do damage control, however, people are getting fed up with this. Bethesda has a history of being quite the bad company, and people should be informed about that. Relying on them for stable games is out of the table, and they might be part of the reason the gaming industry is in the state it is. People want full, from beginning to end, gaming experiences with no cuts nor DLCs. People desire to go back to those times when they actually owned what they bought.

The fact that you can’t mod what you bought is already missing out on features, while paying a big chunk of money. 70 dollars for this is not okay, especially in the current state that the title is in. No matter what however, it seems that people will keep consuming this, even when its obvious its wrong to do so. The medium is facing its biggest crisis so far, and its making the Atari crash look like child’s play. Bad quality has become the norm of the triple A scene, and only those who don’t buy can make a change.
