Assassin’s Creed Shadows Disables Popular Feature

In a recent update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Ubisoft has temporarily deactivated the newly introduced multi-sell feature due to unforeseen technical complications. This feature, which allowed players to mark multiple pieces of equipment for simultaneous sale, was implemented to optimize inventory management, a common application of the players base. However, its rapid elimination indicates that unexpected problems have emerged since its integration.

The decision to disable the functionality of multiple sales was communicated through the set patch notes for the title of the 1.0.3 update, launched today. Ubisoft declared that this measure was taken to address the “unexpected problems” and assured players that they are actively working on a resolution to restore the function in a future update. The details of the technical problems have not been detailed, leaving the specular community about the nature of complications.

This Hotfix also addresses other pressing concerns reported by the players. In particular, it includes solutions for stuttering problems found in the PC, as well as addressing the blockages that some users have experienced during the game prologue. In addition, a graphic distortion has been resolved that affects Yasuke’s outfit after dodging. For PlayStation 5 Pro users, a solution for a graphic problem that occurred when activating HDR and PSSR simultaneously has been implemented, and general blocking problems have also been addressed in PlayStation 5.

Although the temporary elimination of a highly anticipated quality of life is undoubtedly a setback for players who appreciate the efficiency of the sale of mass equipment, the rapid action of Ubisoft to address stability and performance problems is a positive signal. The commitment to solve problems with the function of multiple winds and return it in a future patch will be crucial to maintain player satisfaction. As the veterans of the Game Panorama know, the iterative process of games development often implies such adjustments to guarantee a stable and pleasant experience for all. The players will be waiting for more updates about the return of the function of multiple winds and any additional improvements to Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
