Wuthering Waves Leak Reveals Cantarella’s Infinite Swimming Ability

A new Wuthering Waves leak suggests that the upcoming character Cantarella will feature infinite swimming abilities in the game’s Version 2.2 update. The highly anticipated 5-Star Rectifier unit with a Havoc attribute is set to debut in the update’s first half, potentially offering players a unique edge in exploration.

Cantarella’s design, previously teased through promotional images and trailers in Wuthering Waves and social media, revolves around jellyfish motifs that are rumored to play a key role in her kit. While earlier leaks hinted at her effectiveness as a sub-DPS unit, the latest discovery highlights how her abilities could extend beyond combat. According to leaker Jinhsi Leaks, Cantarella can swim much faster than other characters and use one of her skills to jump out of the water, float briefly with the help of her jellyfish companion, and recover stamina before diving back in. By repeating this cycle, players could swim indefinitely without worrying about stamina depletion.

This mechanic is already drawing comparisons to Phoebe’s infinite flying trick, where players can hover across long distances using precise skill sequences. If Cantarella’s swimming ability remains intact in the final release, it could significantly impact how players navigate Wuthering Waves vast open world, making underwater exploration more efficient.

However, the infinite swimming mechanic may require players to master a specific skill cycle to maximize its effectiveness. The leak comes from the game’s 2.2 beta, meaning the developers could tweak or remove the feature before the patch officially launches.

Alongside Cantarella, the 2.2 update is rumored to introduce Aero Rover and further the game’s main story, exploring the true identity of Cartethyia. With the update expected to launch in late March, more information about Cantarella’s final kit is likely to surface soon.

If the leaks prove accurate, Cantarella could become one of the most valuable characters in Wuthering Waves, offering both powerful combat abilities and unmatched exploration potential.
