Mysterious startup claims their GPUs can destroy Nvidia’s

After the mega flop Nvidia had, and the flops that they are still having, a mysterious new challenger has appeared. Bolt Graphics is a new startup planning to capitalize on the mistakes of the green giant. Greed often causes competition to arise, especially after a big mistake, and now, not only AMD is winning, but there’s a chance the newcomer will too. Bolt Graphics built a completely new graphics processor to enable faster renderings and simulations for users in the creative, gaming, and research industries. Mysterious Rival

Bolt Graphics promises that their boards will be an efficient replacement to Nvidia’s. Before, ray and path tracing features limited game performance, forcing developers to make compromises to visual quality, that means, lowering graphic fidelity. Now game developers can deliver games using the latest technology of graphics without any performance compromise. Zeus is a new GPU that enables real time path tracing at 4k 120 fps, with at least 25 samples per pixel.

These are some crazy numbers coming from a rookie, and they do in fact raise some questions on how true this might be. Making a GPU is no easy task, and it often comes with a lot of issues during the production process. Even Nvidia, the leading company in GPUs is actually struggling to properly fine tune their new models. Although we can say, there’s lots of greed behind the green giant, so cost cutting is the most important thing for them.

We still have no proper details on how the Zeus will perform, since they still need to produce them for a commercial release. Still, it is better to have a GPU that does not melt or cause fire hazards, and it seems that Bolt Graphics is taking that into account. A newbie is often desperate to make a good impression so they can keep growing further.
