Monster Hunter Wilds to get it’s First Major Content Update in April

Monster Hunter Wilds is slated to get it’s first major content Update which is named Title Update 1 as early as April, Capcom has officially confirmed on X/ Twitter. The update will add a series of challenges for players in the form of several new monsters, with one of them “at a level above Tempered”. Besides the new foes, Title Update 1 will also include “a new place to communicate, have meals together, and more with other hunters,” which basically means a sort of Endgame hub for players to interact with each other. And as expected, players of Monster Hunter Wilds will need to complete the game’s main story to access all of this.

Overall, the new update looks to add more post-story contents into the game, which is sure to prolong the overall experience in exciting new ways, especially for players who have completed the base game in it’s entirety. Capcom also stated that the release window for the update “will give hunters enough time to prepare for the new content, and challenges, that await them”, which pretty much suggests that all of the new contents are specifically for players who have already finished it’s main story and have all the required levels and other perks to be able to face even harder and newer in-game challenges.

These are the official details of the update, from the game’s official Steam page:

A New Level of Challenge!

  • Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters! TU1 will bring with it a monster of formidable strength at a level above Tempered! Another challenging monster will also await you!

A Place to Gather

  • A new place to meet, communicate, have meals together and more with other hunters will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in TU1! This area will be available to hunters who have completed the main story, so get hunting and be ready.

However, what Monster Hunter Wilds also needs is a couple of patches to remedy the numerous performance issues that the game is currently suffering from, even in high-end PC’s. And if those aren’t solved really quickly, it could legitimately hurt the game in the long run in more ways than one.
