Monster Hunter Wilds: Hunter Rank Boost

Hunter Rank (HR) is one of the most significant Monster Hunter Wilds systems that keeps track of a player’s advancement, unlocking fresh content, harder monsters, and better gear as it goes up. Whether a new player or grinding out the endgame, it’s nice to know how to increase Hunter Rank.

What Is Hunter Rank?

Hunter Rank is both a level and a gate of progression in Monster Hunter Wilds. Your current Hunter Rank is displayed in the Hunter Profile under the Info tab of the game menu.

Low Rank (HR 1-15): Includes the main story and initial quests.

High Rank (HR 16+): Unlocked after the completion of the story, with tougher monsters and improved rewards.

Max Rank: The actual cap is HR 999, but players will reach certain levels that open up new quests and monsters in the process.

How to Raise Hunter Rank

There are a few methods of gaining Hunter Rank Points (HRP) and raising your rank:

  1. Finish Main Quests

The best method of earning HR during the game is by completing Main Missions. The missions naturally raise your Hunter Rank as you complete chapters of the game.

  1. Side Quests & Optional Missions

Optional missions such as Dareel’s Research Report and Samin’s Research Report provide additional HRP. Ensure that you do all available side missions for additional progress.

  1. Hunts

Killing monsters in the open world gives HRP, particularly big monsters such as the Yian Kut-Ku or Chatacabra. The tougher the monster, the more HRP you receive.

  1. High Rank Content

High Rank missions are the quickest means of obtaining HRP built up after finishing the story. Look out for Special Assignments and Arena Quests for optimal rewards.

How to Increase HR Progression

  • Complete side quests between main quests first.
  • Kill Large Monsters every now and then.
  • Use optional missions to farm HRP in a hurry.
  • Farm with friends on multiplayer hunts to hasten the farming.

These steps are simple for players to achieve the HR 15 cap throughout the story and unlock the game’s massive endgame grind.
