Marvel Rivals Exploit Lets Doctor Strange and Jeff Remove Players From the Map

A new exploit in Marvel Rivals involving Doctor Strange and Jeff the Land Shark has surfaced, allowing players to be permanently removed from the map. This game-breaking bug has frustrated the community, with many calling for immediate action from NetEase Games to fix it.

How the Exploit Works

A Marvel Rivals player shared footage on Reddit, revealing how the Doctor Strange-Jeff exploit functions:

  1. Doctor Strange places one end of his portal in a corner and the other near a fight.
  2. Jeff the Land Shark activates his ultimate, swallowing nearby players.
  3. Jeff spits them into the portal, sending them into an inaccessible area of the map.
  4. Doctor Strange swaps to another hero, making the portal disappear, trapping the affected players for the rest of the match.

Unlike normal eliminations, these players cannot respawn, rendering them completely useless for their team.

Community Response & Potential Fixes

The Marvel Rivals community has reacted strongly, urging NetEase Games to patch the exploit as soon as possible. While glitches and creative portal strategies are common in the game, this exploit ruins competitive matches by giving an unfair advantage.

Some players have called for those abusing the bug to be reported, as deliberate exploitation can lead to bans. Since launch, Jeff’s ultimate ability has already been a point of controversy, with players previously complaining about its hitbox issues—a problem that NetEase has since fixed.

Season 2 & Blade Rumors

While Marvel Rivals is currently wrapping up Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, many fans are looking ahead to Season 2. A popular rumor suggests that Blade could join the game’s expanding roster when the next season begins.

Despite occasional issues like this exploit, Marvel Rivals continues to build a dedicated player base, with many hopeful that future updates for the title will improve balance and prevent similar game-breaking bugs.
