Halo Infinite Giving Away Free Women’s History Month Armor Set for March

As part of the celebration of the beginning of Women’s History Month, Halo Infinite is providing a free armor cosmetics set for players during the month of March. In a fresh announcement on Halo Studios official X page, the giveaway is one of the ways in which the game is marking the achievements of women in the gaming world and the world in general.

The cosmetic bundle consists of a vibrant armor finish, visor, and symbol that enable players to give their Spartans an exclusive appearance. The bundle will be available to all Halo Infinite players who play at any time during the month. The game’s developers, presently known as Halo Studios, claim that the cosmetics were intended to pay tribute to “the women whose brilliance, drive, and creativity continue to inspire change within our industry, studio, and community.”

Spartan customization has been central to Halo since Halo 3, when players were able to unlock pieces of armor within the game. The system has improved over time, and Halo Infinite provides players with the most comprehensive set of customizations yet. The free Women’s History Month pack provides players with another means of expressing themselves on the battlefield while being able to do something good for a good cause.

This is not the first celebration of social causes by Halo Infinite through cosmetics. The game deploys free content on a consistent basis to celebrate significant days like Pride Month, Black History Month, Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and Mental Health Awareness Month. The fans have welcomed these measures and appreciated that the game celebrated inclusivity while creating awareness of various groups.

Three years down the line from its release, the title still gets regular updates, with fans actively playing the game on Xbox and PC. The devs even recently teased they will include a tactical shooter mode in a bid to win players who play games like Counter-Strike and Valorant. Given continued support and new updates pending, it certainly looks like there is still more life in this game.

Women’s History Month armor set can be obtained for no cost until March 31.
