Half Life 2 receives an RTX DLSS4 demo to sell the tech

Half Life has been a classic that many PC gamers remember, and Half Life 2 was mind blowing. To this day many console users lament the fact that they never got to play this game since it was exclusive to the PC platform for a long while. Today, this classic has been tarnished by an unnecessary tech flex that nobody cares about. To keep pushing “AI” slop tech to fake FPS and effects is egregious, real gamers know that whatever gets generated out of it is often wrong and detrimental to gameplay. This tech exists to scam investors out of their money, by promising fake demo gameplay for them to gaze at. We at Infinite Start will cover these news.

Half Life has been desecrated

It is clear that Nvidia wants to use renown titles to showcase this “AI” slop technology. If this was being used on an unknown “AI” slop “game”, nobody would bat an eye to it. Upscaling tech like FSR and DLSS exists primarily for tech demos, demos that are shown to investors who often know nothing about video games. Nowadays, games are being made specifically for that people, gamers stopped being the focus. Those who remember the older days of PC by playing MS-DOS games have been phased out by a new crew that knows nothing.

Gentrification of gaming is real, and as we speak, its slowly taking over the hobby. Indie games came to the rescue, however, by providing us quality over the quantity of slop that is being pushed on the industry. Fans of games and creators alike are the driving force keeping the medium alive, if it wasn’t for them, another crash would have happened by now. Half Life as a series is a timeless classic, and it should be played by anyone who is interested in a godly story driven shooter. No “AI” flair and unnecessary tooling is needed to enjoy it, graphics are bloat.
