GTA 5 Enhanced gets new Patch to fix several Gameplay and Performance issues

Rockstar Games has just released a new Patch for GTA 5 Enhanced which aims to fix a ton of gameplay and performance related issues that’s currently plaguing the game. Some of those problems include sudden frame drops when the player is underwater, several crash-related bugs, issues when enabling DLSS and even several instances of the game running out of VRAM. Many of these persisting problems severely get in the way of the players’ enjoyment in the game which makes this patch pretty much essential for everyone playing GTA 5 Enhanced right now.

The new patch also fixes some of the cosmetic issues in the game such as the Chameleon paint not applying on vehicles, issues regarding the GTA + membership and lots more. Below are some of the patch notes:

  • Improved error messages for issues with machines that don’t meet the minimum specs or have outdated drivers.
  • Problems where GTA V Enhanced wouldn’t close properly when exiting using ALT + F4 or the pause menu are now fixed
  • The problem with not receiving the Homing Launcher during the Career Builder has now been fixed for players.
  • Bugs where the organisation leader would get stuck on a black loading screen during the Direct Action (LSA Operation) missions are now fixed.

However despite these fixes which will no doubt make your gameplay experience more refined, GTA 5 Enhanced is yet to include it’s Text Chat option which many players feel as a glaring omission from the overall GTA 5 experience as it was one of the staple online features for years. So it remains to be seen if Rockstar adds it back into the game or includes a suitable alternative for players in the near future. But either way, this new patch clearly indicates that the devs are at work ironing out all of the issues in GTA 5 Enhanced which is definitely welcome.

And although the game’s still tagged with a ‘Mixed’ rating on Steam, more patches like these can surely turn things around for GTA 5 Enhanced.
