Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 Roadmap Unveiled

Activision has finally released the Season 3 roadmap for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which unveils new maps, weapons, modes, and more that will arrive on April 2. At the same time, Warzone will also get its Season 3 update on April 3, returning the legendary Verdansk map after almost three and a half years.

New Multiplayer Maps & Modes

Black Ops 6 players can expect three new maps at launch:

  • Firing Range (Remastered) – One of the fan favorite maps from the original Black Ops.
  • Barrage – A 6v6 map, in 1968 Vietnam, amidst a war-torn jungle.
  • Nomad – A compact 6v6 and 2v2 map, in the ruins of an Afghanistan fortified settlement.
  • Later in the season, two new maps and one new Nuketown version will be part of a mid-season update.

Back for Good: Returning Game Modes

  • Sharpshooter – A free-for-all party game mode in which all players use the same randomly cycling loadout every 45 seconds.
  • Demolition – A bomb-planting objective game mode where teams switch off between attacking and defending.

New Guns & Battle Pass Content

A few popular weapons from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) will be found in Season 3:

  • CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle (Battle Pass)
  • HDR Sniper Rifle (Battle Pass)
  • Kilo 141 Assault Rifle (Free reward to Warzone players in case of 24-hour downtime)

Other season unlocks are:

  • Ladra SMG
  • Nail Gun
  • Kali Sticks
  • Grau 5.56 (using Swat 5.56 Conversion Kit)
  • Monolithic Suppressor (Battle Pass)

Zombies & Other Updates

Season 3 will also introduce:

  • A new Zombies map in its entirety for Black Ops 6.
  • New perks for the Zombies mode.
  • Back the Death Machine scorestreak.
  • Cosmetic packs exclusive to players.

With new maps, guns, and traditional game modes, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 promises to be a major improvement to Zombies and Multiplayer, while Warzone gamers will finally get back to Verdansk in its most scenic look ever.
