Assassin’s Creed Shadows has a trailer Ubisoft’s last chance

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has dropped a new trailer, apparently, the game seems to run okay on Steam Deck, but I would be very wary. Ubisoft is known to lie about specifications on their own products, and this game is no exception. It will probably have to run on low settings for it to work properly, and that’s considering if it will run at all on release date. As always, the hedonistic nature of the industry keeps popping up with day one patches that are often three times the size of the game. We at Infinite Start will drop some news about the things we know.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows, last chance

This might as well be Ubisoft’s last chance, the success of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will make the difference between Ubisoft surviving or dying off. I would like this to happen after the new Heroes of Might & Magic releases, but we can’t have everything in life. Perhaps game cancellations will start happening next year, and Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era survives to see a proper release. We have to understand that the ones developing Assassin’s Creed Shadows are Ubisoft themselves.

Maybe Ubisoft stops making games, and decides to lease their IPs such as Rayman to other companies who care. There is an ongoing trend happening in Japan, where many companies are starting to just license out famous IPs to indie studios. KOEI Tecmo has already gave Ninja Gaiden’s license to The Game Kitchen, a Spanish studio who were behind the acclaimed Blasphemous. We can hope that Ubisoft becomes wiser with their decisions and if they fail, they would just decide to lease their IPs to other companies who actually do games.

In this new Assassin’s Creed experience, experience an epic action adventure story set in feudal Japan. Become a lethal shinobi assassin and powerful legendary samurai as you explore a beautiful open world in a time of chaos. You can pre-purchase the game now, but be wary of the pile of bugs that come with it.
