AMD is doing its best to acquire some reasonable market share, and they have been doing some very good decisions. However, they still have some blunders, especially with all of those “AI” technology things that do more harm than good in the industry. However, people care about price to performance ratio, and AMD is the clear winner against Nvidia, who is filled with greed. The fact that a company attempting to become a monopoly has sold literal fire hazards to its customers is baffling. Things like that are normal however, especially in the system we all live in. We at Infinite Start will report on what you lose if you buy red team.
For the price point and availability, AMD is the clear winner, and you can even make an argument that there’s really no reason to buy Nvidia anymore. Unlike the green giant, the red force provides with actual quality components that do not melt or burn down after using them a bit. AMD has its own issues however, but going for the overpriced Nvidia cards is just financial death. If you are a Linux user, you always want to stick with red team, since their drivers are open source unlike Nvidia’s.
Being a Linux user, the plug and play nature of AMD GPUs is a blessing, and they truly will save you lots of time and headaches that Nvidia GPUs give. The future is in open source code, and allowing customers to modify and fix their own hardware and software. This is essential to keep moving our right to repair forward, although, AMD has been against that with some actions they have done in the past.
Regardless of this, it is clear that red team is the least of two evils, and instead of going with other options, its better to go for the safer and cheaper one, you don’t really lose anything.
