AMD has partnered up with Sony to be able to develop FSR4

AMD is doing its best to topple the green giant Nvidia, to ensure it can at least have a bit of market dominance. It has been confirmed that the Red Team is finally partnering up with Sony to properly developer their FSR technology. However, developers should be focusing on actually optimizing their hardware and software to ensure the consumer has the best experience. In today’s world, this isn’t happening, and this is why we end up with sloppy products that fail to meet expectations. We need some change to happen if we want to ensure the survive-ability of our gaming hobby. We at Infinite Start will cover this development.

AMD’s new FSR

Frame generation and other technologies are being touted as the future despite all of the underlying issues. Fake frames will always be fake frames, and inputs are actually reliant on proper real frames. When you enable any of these technologies, it is true that the game will run and look more fluid. However, the cost of this is in the gameplay department, your inputs will be severely delayed. Game publishers have been focused on churning out unoptimized slop lately, always slapping these features on top of games.

They do have tons of options to fix them, but since those take time and are expensive, they just go forward with fake “AI” slop. FSR and Frame Gen exist solely to be able to run benchmarks and trick consumers with buying sub optimal hardware that costs a lot. People whoever are too entranced by the eye candy, as if they were watching a movie instead of playing a game. As this keeps happening, gaming will devolve into slop releases that will be forgotten by everyone. It is already happening, and there’s nothing notable coming out aside from one or two titles every 5 years.

Indies are the cure to this industry that is falling down. So we can still enjoy the good moments that gaming brings to our lives.
