WWE 2K25 Introduces Prime Hydration Bottles as Exciting New Weapons

WWE 2K25 is set to expand its arsenal of interactive weapons, and in an unexpected twist, players will now be able to use Prime Hydration bottles to take down their opponents. The wildly popular energy drink, co-founded by WWE star Logan Paul, has been heavily featured on WWE programming, and it looks like it’s making its way into the virtual ring in a big way.

Prime Hydration Station Becomes a Weapon

According to reports from preview sessions, WWE 2K25 will introduce the Prime Hydration Station at ringside, allowing players to interact with it in multiple ways. Wrestlers can toss their opponents into the station or grab individual Prime bottles to use as throwable weapons—building upon the weapon-throwing mechanics first introduced in WWE 2K24.

But that’s not all. Footage from the game has also shown an oversized Prime bottle—nearly waist-high—that can be used to deliver a devastating atomic drop. In this move, players lift their opponent before slamming their tailbone against the giant bottle’s lid, adding a humorous yet painful-looking new attack to the game.

More New Features in WWE 2K25

The addition of Prime weapons isn’t the only big change coming to WWE 2K25, which is set to release on March 14, just weeks before WrestleMania 41.

The game introduces Island Mode, a quest-based experience where players compete in themed arenas to earn the approval of Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. Meanwhile, Backstage Brawl matches are getting a major upgrade, with two new locations—the NXT Parking Lot and the WWE Archives—adding more depth to backstage brawling.

Additionally, the game promises a significant improvement in character models, a welcome change after some wrestlers, including former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley, expressed disappointment with their in-game appearances in WWE 2K24.

With its growing weapon selection, new modes, and enhanced visuals, WWE 2K25 is shaping up to be a must-play for wrestling fans. And with Prime Hydration now part of the action, expect some truly bizarre but entertaining moments in the virtual squared circle.
