Throne and Liberty Gives Cinematic XP Bonus and Rewards before Expansion

NCSoft’s Throne and Liberty is preparing for its first large expansion, Wilds of the Talandre, with a significant server revamp and a bountiful reward system to encourage active gamers. To prepare for a seamless experience, the developer is merging servers and providing free transferring while providing a chain of in-game rewards for bringing players in.

Initially launched in October 2024, Throne and Liberty stormed the MMORPG scene so quickly that it became an instant hit for its smooth combat, massive world, and free-to-play design. As the player base of the game continues to increase, NCSoft has had to restructure servers, the restructuring period to be conducted between 13th February and 27th February, 2025. Players have been allowed to transfer to the merged servers for free within this time and can get a full set of benefits such as an extra 20% Sollant from monster hunts, 50% bonus mastery experience from any source, and 50% bonus Training Dew.

Apart from these XP and in-game currency increases, rewards are also offered for daily log-in bonuses like Growthstones and Dimensional Essence. The action follows another giveaway by NCSoft this year, when Throne and Liberty players were rewarded with Ornate Coins, Trait Unlockstones, Star Crystals, and Rare Rune Chests as compensation for prolonged downtime. Additionally, the newest server patches follow on the heels of Patch 1.12.0, which added combat, UI, and inventory management improvements, as well as team coordination improvements in War Games.

Although the hype for these patches has been great, gamers have been let down by not receiving new content in February. There is still anticipation for Wilds of the Talandre, which comes on March 6. It is a free expansion that brings new zones, weapon mastery rework, raised level cap, and new gear to increase the size of the game’s world and its progression system.

With NCSoft continuing to develop the Throne and Liberty experience, technologically as well as through future content, the MMORPG is poised for expansion. Players who participate in the current server migration event will not only receive the enhanced rewards, but will also be well-placed for the new challenges waiting for them in March.
