PC launch of Spider Man 2 is riddled with performance issues

The PC Launch of Spider Man 2 is riddled with terrible issues that hamper gameplay. From crashes at the worst moment and myriads of bugs, this release was a disaster. One can assume that Sony might have done this in purpose. You can even still find the PS5 development kit files inside this egregious build. We at Infinite Start will cover the details after the break.

A web of bugs

It is common for companies to try and protect their brand. However, we have seen time and time again these years, that they also cut corners. These actions are very contradictory in and out itself, and both end in money reasons. Money is the most important thing Sony is needing right now, especially after the titanic flop that Concord was. Seems like the victim here was the PC launch of Spider Man 2.

People have found information by checking the files that point out that the PC launch of Spider Man 2 is merely just the PC build. However, the PC build we are dealing with is just development files that clearly run on corporate hardware. It is known that game development companies deal with systems that not even the regular user can access. When porting a game to PC, it is important to target the biggest amount of systems possible.

Lately, Sony has been blundering on this by providing awful PC ports that will only hurt their brand. This adds to the pile of ridiculous situations that they already had to face, such as trying to force PC players into PSN. This is a clear movement of a company that is desperate to acquire every dollar you have. To show your stance on the matter, maybe its better to not buy these terrible ports. One can always get the PC Launch of Spider Man 2 in different ways.
