Nvidia 5090 cards are dangerous and expensive to consumers

We live in crazy times when it comes to PC gaming. People have fought tooth and nail on retail to try and secure the ephemeral Nvidia 5090 cards. However, after severe update issues, fans of the company have to face a potential fire hazard waiting to happen too. 5090 cards, despite the promises of Nvidia that they wouldn’t melt your cables, seem to be doing that now. We at Infinite Start will cover what consumers can do to avoid this.

10% performance and a burn

It has been brought by many already that the 5090 cards seem to melt connectors similar to how the 4090 used to do. Nvidia did promise consumers that the problem was fixed, however, it seems to be even worse than the past generation. It is understated how dangerous it is to have these time bombs in your house, waiting to detonate. While house fires produced by PC builds aren’t common at all, there’s plenty of other issues a small fire can cause. Some of these include inhaling potential toxic smoke that comes from melting these components.

Buyers should be aware before buying these overpriced monstrosities that can risk a house fire. And they should instead opt for older but stable models, at around 600w of consumption, these cards are unreal and the performance they give is negligible. While this does make consoles look very good in paper, what consoles lack currently is quality games and proper exclusives. But one does not even need to have the latest equipment to enjoy good gaming on PC.

By buying older Nvidia models from many years ago, one can keep having consistent performance across many modern titles. It is important to not, however, that people should avoid buying things that are unoptimized, since those are usually pretty bad games that should stop coming out. Quality needs to flood the market, and indie games usually provide that along with plenty of healthy gaming.
