Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Sells 2 Million Copies in just Two Weeks

The recently released Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has hit another milestone with the game confirmed to have sold upwards of 2 Million units in less than two weeks. Developer Warhorse Studios have announced the official sales numbers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on Twitter/X and described the game’s huge commercial success as a “triumph”. The medieval Europe action RPG sequel was released on February 4 for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Embracer, the company which owns Warhorse Studios, has praised the game as well, calling Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 as “initially successful, not only in terms of player and critic reception, but also in terms of performance.”

“This reflects the dedication and hard work of our development studio, Warhorse Studios, and our publisher, Deep Silver,” Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors has stated.

“It is our strong belief that the game will continue to generate substantial revenues over the coming years, highlighting the exceptional quality, immersion and appeal of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Warhorse Studios has a robust roadmap, including updates and new content over the next 12 months, ensuring an engaging and continuously evolving experience for the community.

Upon it’s release, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was highly praised for it’s exceptional melee combat system and engrossing narrative along with some of the deeper gameplay elements that players just won’t find in most other titles in it’s genre.

The game also has Cryengine running under it’s hoods which has resulted in some of the most stunning and realistic looking vegetation and natural landmark renderings in the entire current-gen of gaming. What’s even more impressive is the fact that the game manages to look spectacular even without using any Ray-Tracing feature, making it far more optimized and scalable across a wide range of GPUs out there.
