Game Freak Announces Pandoland Global Release Date

Game Freak, the developer of the popular Pokémon game series, has disclosed –in an official trailer– that its upcoming mobile game, Pandoland, will hit global markets in April 2025. The game, now on sale in Japan since 2024, will be made available around the world, providing players with an exciting adventure with features such as creature collection, treasure seeking and battle action.

Pandoland Expands Beyond Japan

WonderPlanet and Game Freak have published Pandoland, which is marketed as a casual adventure RPG that is easy to play by anyone. It is set in a wide open nautical world where the user assumes the identity of an explorer, recruiting colleagues and battling powerful bosses. With more than 500 collectible creatures, the game has a rich strategic dimension to its action-oriented gameplay. [As part of the worldwide launch], all players who pre-register for Pandoland on the App Store or Google Play Store will be redeemed with in-game items, such as the ability to perform 100 gacha pulls on launch day.

Although the gacha system does not suit all preferences, it is in line with the F2P model of Pandoland like a lot of other mobile RPGs. Game Freak’s Expanding Portfolio Although it is most recognized for its contribution to Pokémon, Studio Game Freak also engages in research of novel gaming ideas.

Previous titles include Giga Wrecker (2017), a physics-based puzzle game, and Little Town Hero (2019), a turn-based RPG featuring a soundtrack by Undertale creator Toby Fox. Pandoland is one further step from Pokémon, while providing a distinctive creature-collecting genre. Z-A, announced in February 2024. It’s a very popular game for fans and so Legends: Z-A has many waiting for its next updates and its release on Pokémon Day, February 27.

The year’s Pokémon Day featured some big announcements, including the showing off of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, so something like that may be in the works. Z-A in production, Game Freak is set for a packed 2025. The world of visitors around the world will finally have the opportunity to venture into Pandoland’s colorful world and compare it to the studio’s hits to date.
