Forza Horizon 5 is Arriving on the PS5 in April

Forza Horizon 5 is officially confirmed to arrive on the Playstation 5 on April 29, with Pre-Orders of the Premium Edition (which costs $99.99) offering early access to the game starting from April 25. This marks the series’ first official foray into Sony’s platform and beyond Xbox and the PC where the game was first launched back in 2021. Gamers on the PS5 will finally get to experience the acclaimed racing gem with it’s vast Open World and car lineup along with it’s signature races.

Pre-Ordering Forza Horizon 5 on the PS5 will also grant access to several bonuses such as the game’s cover car, the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE along with a total of 5000 #Forzathon points which will allow players tons of in-game purchases along with five Backstage passes that’ll unlock several rare vehicles. Besides the Pre-Order bonuses, Forza Horizon 5 for the PS5 will include the same contents as the Xbox and PC versions like the Car Packs, the Hot Wheels expansion and the Rally Adventure expansion.

Players on the PS5 can experience the game in two visual quality presets, the Performance mode which will offer a silky-smooth 60 FPS while Quality mode targets 30 FPS with full ray-traced reflections during both races and free roam. Also if you have the PS5 Pro, you’ll be able to get enhanced visual fidelity in the game’s Performance mode which will likely be the best way to experience the game on the Sony platform.

Also, Forza Horizon 5 is set to receive an exciting update for all platforms on the same date, which is named Horizon Realms and will include four new cars, a completely new racetrack layout for the game’s Horizon Stadium and a host of returning environments from the series’ community favorites. Overall the new update will definitely liven up the game in more ways than one for all players out there.
