Fortnite Confirms Jujutsu Kaisen Crossover

Epic Games recently teased the coming of yet another Jujutsu Kaisen crossover in Fortnite. Although many JJK fans are excited about a second crossover with the series, some are quite skeptical about the crossover. The announcement came as a mysterious X post showing the shadow of Ryomen Sukuna, the series’ most feared villain, alongside the message: “Don’t beat the curse… be the curse.”

This is all the confirmation fans needed to know because the next wave of Jujutsu Kaisen content is coming soon. That said, several fans are curious about what else might be included and are simply thrilled by the thought of what’s next.

What to Expect from the Crossover

Although Epic hasn’t shared all the details yet, which can be a bit frustrating for some, leaks from trusted sources like ShiinaBR suggest that the update will bring three new skins: Ryomen Sukuna, Mahito and Toji Fushiguro. If this crossover is no different from the pattern of past anime collaborations, players can expect each skin to come with themed pickaxes, back blings and other cosmetics.

The first Jujutsu Kaisen event in Fortnite was unsurprisingly a big hit, introducing characters like Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. It also included special gameplay mechanics like Cursed Llamas and powerful abilities such as Hollow Purple. It’s unclear whether this second crossover will bring back similar items, however, adding some new abilities or weapons would definitely make the update even more exciting.

Perfect Timing for a Crossover

This crossover couldn’t have come at a better time (1). Fortnite’s current season already has a demon-hunting theme and a strong Japanese influence. This makes Jujutsu Kaisen a perfect fit. With Chapter 6, Season 2 right around the corner, the event is likely to be one of the last big content drops before the new season kicks off.

Epic Games hasn’t revealed a release date or any further information on the crossover yet, but because the teaser is already out, more details should be coming soon. For now, Fortnite fans can start getting hyped to step into the Battle Royale as Sukuna, Mahito, or Toji in the near future. Although the excitement is building, players still have to wait a little longer.
