Ertugrul of Ulukayin is a cool open world indie coming to PC

Ertugrul of Ulukayin is a new open world medieval game in the vein of Kingdom Come Deliverance, and its coming soon to PC. We do wish this game had a better name to be more recognizable for the right reasons. Names often play a part in how easy it is for people to find more about it, and at least in this department, the game already lost. This feels like another El Shaddai situation, and people might be missing out on a really good game. Ertugrul of Ulukayin is coming soon in the second quarter of 2025. We at Infinite Start will cover this new medieval adventure.

Ertugrul of… what?

Ertugrul of Ulukayin is a 3rd person action adventure game that takes you into the heart of the Turkish medieval era, set against the stunning landscape of Ahlat. In this new game you can explore breathtaking landmarks and forge connections with neighboring tribes as you navigate a vibrant and fantastic rendition of this time period. Stand up for the innocent and face the secret order who’s seeking to corrupt the land, be ready to fight the Mongols and legendary monsters lurking in the shadows.

Apparently, dreams also play a big role in this game. Sometimes you will be able to engage with vivid renditions of the Turkish mythology, and this can aid your quest. However, they can also turn into unrelenting nightmares that can drag onto real life. While its clear the game didn’t go much for historical accuracy, it seems that it will mostly try to represent the time period with some deviations. It is nice to see so much budget put into this indie project and its clear that it will be a big player in the future of indies.

If you are interested in this game, you can try out the demo. If you liked Ertugrul of Ulukayin, you can wishlist it on Steam.
