Dr Plague is a new and interesting stealth game coming to PC

Dr Plague is a new Stealth experience that is about to release on PC. Embark a world focused on the environments and atmosphere, as you scurry across a plague ridden landscape. Your objective is to survive, and the ambiance is mellow, you are their only hope. Indie games are often very diverse with topics that enrich storylines. In the deluge of half baked triple A slop, they are needed to counteract the damage those games cause. Oftentimes, these indie games are passion projects that keep the industry alive. We at Infinite Start will cover this new take on the Stealth genre.

Dr Plague comes for you

Stealth games are actually a very old genre that started in the late 70s, specifically 1979 with Manbiki Shounen. Contrary to popular belief, Metal Gear, while also being a popular title, came out 8 years later on the famed MSX system. Stealth has a long history and evolution, we can still see that the genre keeps its DNA intact without introducing many things into the mix. Dr Plague is an indie game that has the potential to revolutionize the genre with its ideas.

In a world ravaged by plague, a lone plague doctor embarks on a journey to stop both the disease and a sinister order of knights controlling it. Dr Plague is a stealth adventure game that combines puzzle solving, platforming, and ambient soundtracks. It is clear that you don’t have power, that you can’t fight back. However, there is still some hope to try and take down the evil order, you can make an escape. It is clear that the game might be quite hard, but perseverance always carries gamers forward.

In case you are interested on this peculiar new title, you may want to wishlist it. It will be released in April 8th of 2025, which is very soon.
