Apex Legends Releases New Update to Patch Season 24 Bugs

Respawn Entertainment released a new update for Apex Legends following the Season 24 deployment. The battle royale first-person shooter game, which launched in 2019, continues to be a genre giant despite going through boom and bust cycles in the gaming world. Season 24 brought in some changes in the game like balancing of the weapons, swapper of armors, and also a feature called Arsenal which enabled the easy switchover between different weapons and the ammos. However, similar to how such massive updates would happen, Season 24 too came with certain issues, and thus Respawn released a number of patches fixing those.

The developer has tweeted that the new patch for Apex Legends resolves numerous issues, including Bangalore’s Smoke Launcher challenge problem, R-301 event badge tracking problem, and the accidental availability of the Fast Charge Gold Helmet in Battle Royale mode. These problems had been troubling players since the beginning of the season, and some were not even able to finish the Bangalore Pass Challenge since progress was not being tracked appropriately. Damage wasn’t recorded via the R-301 event badge, suggesting that players also wouldn’t get rewards they would otherwise have earned.

Meanwhile, Fast Charge Gold Helmet that boosts Legend ability cooldowns somehow appeared in standard Battle Royale games prematurely. Because the best equipment is usually restricted for specific modes to provide a balance, its unauthorized drop in main games was raising competitive parity concerns. The patch removes the helmet in Battle Royale to achieve a fair field for all.

Beyond these patches, Apex Legends Season 24 also continues to release new features and patches beyond these. The biggest one of these is the transition to new perks for the Assault class, which will make the class playable as a whole and balance the class’s weapon economy. Additional updates in the form of a season also means the players can look forward to even more tuning as Respawn balances out the gameplay.

Aside from the occasional bugs, Apex Legends is still one of the most smooth free-to-play battle royale games around. The developer fixing issues at such a high rate is a testament to its dedication to providing a seamless and enjoyable experience. More patches and possible surprises lie in store for players throughout the duration of Season 24 to keep the game fresh and competitive.
