Wuthering Waves Confirms New 5-Star Characters for Version 2.1

Kuro Games has officially revealed Phoebe and Brant as the next 5-Star Rinascita characters for Wuthering Waves Version 2.1. The announcement, shared through posts on the game’s official X account, has fans excited for their debut in the upcoming update. Based on lore and in-game appearances, Phoebe is expected to be a Spectro unit, while Brant might wield a sword.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.1 is set to bring these two characters in separate banner phases. Phoebe is anticipated in Phase 1, followed by Brant in Phase 2. Phoebe serves as an Acolyte of the Order of the Deep, a devout faction in Rinascita that reveres its Sentinel, Imperator. Beneath her serene discipline lies a cheerful personality, making her an intriguing addition to the roster. Brant, meanwhile, is the charismatic captain of the Fool’s Troupe, a traveling Carnevale show that also includes Roccia. While Brant’s outward demeanor is carefree, his loyalty to protecting the Troupe suggests a deeper layer to his character.

These reveals build upon the excitement of Wuthering Waves Version 2.0, which introduced new areas, a continuation of the main story, and the addition of 5-Star units like Carlotta and Roccia. Players are already engaging with the banners for Carlotta and Zhezhi, which run until January 23, and looking forward to Roccia’s arrival before the end of Version 2.0 in mid-February.

Beyond Phoebe and Brant, the only remaining teased Rinascita character is Zani, who has appeared in promotional materials but is yet to become playable. Fans are also speculating about additional characters rumored for the current update cycle.

As Wuthering Waves continues its momentum, players can also expect exciting cosmetic additions. A premium skin for Jinhsi is now available, and Sanhua’s skin will be offered for free during an event starting January 23.
