Fortnite Brings Back Rare Wonder Woman Skin After Over a Year

A fan-favorite superhero skin has made its way back to Fortnite after more than a year. The Wonder Woman skin has officially returned to the in-game shop, giving players another chance to snag one of the most iconic cosmetics in the battle royale game. This marks the end of a 444-day absence, with the skin last appearing in October 2023.

Wonder Woman’s return also includes the re-release of her themed accessories, such as the Athena’s Battleaxe pickaxe and the Golden Eagle Wings glider. Players can purchase the skin for 1,600 V-Bucks, while the full bundle—featuring all the Wonder Woman cosmetics—is available at a discounted price of 2,400 V-Bucks.

Superheroes have become a cornerstone of Fortnite’s cosmetic lineup. Epic Games has continually collaborated with DC and Marvel to bring beloved characters like Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, and Iron Man into the game. These crossovers often celebrate major releases in pop culture, giving players access to unique skins, gameplay mechanics, and even themed weapons.

The Wonder Woman skin is part of Fortnite’s larger DC universe collection, which has seen consistent updates over the years. December 2024 was especially big for DC fans, with the return of popular skins like Harley Quinn and Starfire. Alongside the returning characters, Fortnite introduced fresh, Japanese-themed variants such as Ninja Batman and Karuta Harley Quinn to celebrate Chapter 6 Season 1’s theme.

Wonder Woman’s return is just the latest in Fortnite’s impressive lineup of collaborations. Epic Games has already teased several exciting additions for January 2025, including a Godzilla skin and the return of Dragon Ball cosmetics. Rumors are also swirling about an upcoming Demon Slayer crossover, adding to the anticipation.

Fortnite’s ability to seamlessly blend pop culture with gaming continues to draw fans, and Wonder Woman’s comeback is no exception. Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX confirmed her return on social media, highlighting the 444-day gap since her last appearance. Fans can check out the tweet here.

With its latest season offering a mix of nostalgia and fresh content, Fortnite is once again showing why it’s a leader in gaming crossovers. Players interested in adding Wonder Woman to their collection should act fast, as skins of this caliber don’t stay in the shop for long.
