These are the Playstation Plus Free Games for January 2025

This month’s batch of Free games for the Playstation Plus subscribers have been revealed and starting January 7 of 2025, all PS Plus members are eligible to claim these three titles which includes Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a Live Service game made by Rocksteady Studios (of Batman: Arkham fame) that had players take control of a team of supervillains in the city of Metropolis and take down a corrupted Justice League. As you may already know, the game failed to make an impact post release and was met with an underwhelming reception from both critics and players alike. The game had received several months of updates and added a few new characters to it’s roster and it’s final season went live in December 2024.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is one of the most acclaimed titles in the NFS franchise over the past decade and the Remastered version of the game came out back in 2020 and featured several technical and graphical enhancements, besides adding some quality of Life changes to make the core experience even more enjoyable. If you’re on the Playstation platform and somehow missed the original, now would be a great time to pick up the Remastered version for free which still offers a highly satisfying and enjoyable arcade racing experiences for both older fans and newcomers to the series.

And finally, the Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is a remake version of 2013’s The Stanley Parable which is a surreal indie adventure title and expands on the original release in every way and is kind of a sequel except in name. It was highly praised for it’s unique narrative beats and storytelling nuances and can still hold up well enough on it’s own. The Deluxe version brings a touch of visual improvement which makes it more appealing by today’s standards.

These three games will be available for free till February 3.
