Suicide Squad flop made WB Games president quit the studio

Nowadays, Triple A games are full of absolute flops, from Concord to Multiversus and many others. Suicide Squad‘s flop has finally caused the departure of David Haddad from WB Games, being one of his biggest flops ever. These errors show time and time again that people do not really seem to care about live service schemes as they used to. We at Infinite Squad will cover such massive flop.

Cause and Reaction

It is said by many that the Suicide Squad game was a massive blunder. Even players hated the experience, and chalked it up as just another Live Service game. Many Live Service titles abound in the world of gaming right now, each costing lots of time to develop. However, the quality of the majority of them is subpar compared to some great single player experiences.

Suicide Squad, being much to the like of other Live Service or should I say dead service games, is built upon mistakes. Microtransactions are one of the biggest mistakes that ever happened to gaming. Being one of the worst things that lowers the quality of them, along with poor direction and other greedy practices.

Unfortunately, the majority of these games are still successful at large. Fortnite and others have reached the mainstream and show that there’s more slop to come. Some consumers seem to be unable to resist such greedy hooks that keep making the industry worse each passing day.

There is hope, however, that with the fall down of the reviled Suicide Squad game, people might realize what’s up. While these games tend to be free, there has been a nasty trend of trying to make you pay for them. Concord is the biggest flop of all time, charging retail price for a glorified free to play is ridiculous. And even when they are free, terrible tactics are used to extort money from their users.

Indies hold the hope that the industry might move forward. After all, its a no brainer to pay a bit of money to get an amazing single player experience. An experience that you will remember for the years to come.
