Ninja Gaiden 2 Black will Receive new Update for Balance Adjustments and New Features in February

The recently released Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is set to receive a huge update in February where developer Team Ninja will add whole new features into the game while also making some balancing adjustments in it’s gameplay. The devs have announced the news about the coming update on X/Twitter but didn’t include specific information on what the new features are going to be. But the new update is confirmed to release during mid-February and will bring several gameplay adjustments aimed at balancing the game even more which will definitely improve the game on multiple levels.

Players of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black have also replied to the tweet with names of gameplay features they’d like to see such as options for tweaking the game’s camera movements which will no doubt come in handy during several parts of the game as well as a New Game Plus option that’s common in most action titles released on the current-gen which adds far more replayability to the game by enabling the players to continue their saves and unlocks through any new campaign they choose to start. The New Game Plus feature would be a welcome addition for Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and will make all replays of the game even more rewarding and satisfying.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black...Ninja Gaiden 2 Black...

So far, Team Ninja has only said they would address the “feedback” received from the gamers and no specific release date for the patch has been announced as of yet.

“Based on the feedback received, we are preparing a patch aimed for release in mid February with some balance adjustments and additional features,” the devs said.

Ninja Gaiden Black 2 has also received a much smaller patch version 1.0.6.0 this past week which fixes an issue that prevented players from enabling DLSS and XeSS resolution scaling options for copies of the game bought through the Microsoft Store. The patch also addresses a “rare” problem that previously stopped all in-game progress after defeating certain bosses. Overall it certainly looks like the developers are focused on ironing out all the kinks in Ninja Gaiden Black 2 thereby making the already amazing action game even better for everyone.

The old-school hack-n-slash genre has started a strong resurgence through the recently released Ninja Gaiden Black 2. You can read the review of the epic character action title at Infinitestart right here.
