NetEase Games has announced that Marvel Rivals will introduce a new skin based on the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The skin will be released on January 30 to coincide with the PC debut of Spider-Man 2, marking an exciting crossover between the two titles.
The Advanced Suit 2.0, first introduced in Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, sports the hero’s classic red and blue design with a striking white spider emblem—a signature element of this version of the character. This skin will be available as a legendary cosmetic in Marvel Rivals, and while its pricing hasn’t been officially confirmed, fans speculate it may carry a premium price tag similar to previous legendary skins, which range between 2,200 and 2,600 Units.
The skin’s announcement was made via a post on Marvel Rivals’ official X account, where fans shared their excitement over the addition. The reveal has also sparked debate among players, with some torn between acquiring the Advanced Suit 2.0 and a potentially leaked Lunar New Year Spider-Man skin.
Spider-Man is categorized as a Duelist in Marvel Rivals, meaning his gameplay focuses on dealing significant damage while using his agility to outmaneuver opponents. His moveset includes web-zipping, web-swinging, and pulling enemies in for devastating attacks. Players have also been tasked with using Spider-Man in Midnight Features quests during Season 1 to unlock in-game rewards, making him one of the game’s standout heroes.
In addition to the Advanced Suit 2.0, Marvel Rivals will also introduce new skins for Mantis and Doctor Strange on January 17. With a steady stream of content updates and cosmetics, players are eager to see what NetEase Games has planned next for the hero shooter.
