Ubisoft has released the Official System Requirements for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which include several different quality presets along with three different Ray Tracing configurations (namely Selected, Standard and Extended) covering a wide range of Graphics Cards. However, the game also requires a minimum of 16GB RAM, Windows 10 or 11 with DirectX 12, and an SSD (mandatory).
GPU: Nvidia® GeForce RTX™ 4090 24GB
Resolution/FPS Using Dynamic Resolution and Upscaling: 4K at 60 FPS
Visual Settings: Ultra
CPU: Intel® Core™ Intel i7 13700k/ AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800x3D
Looking at Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ in-game visuals which are exceedingly gorgeous and lifelike, the system requirements can be said as pretty generous and fairly scalable. Ubisoft’s upcoming title is definitely one of the most visually stunning Open World games ever made so given the ambition and scope of the game, the requirements do seem justified.
The game also supports all of the current-gen upscaling and frame-gen technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.1 and Intel XeSS 2. Support for DLSS 4 which is exclusive to the upcoming RTX 50 series of Graphics Cards will likely be added through a patch soon after the game’s release.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to arrive on March 20 for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the PC platform.
