Assassin’s Creed Origins and Valhalla Finally Fixed on Windows 11

Several Ubisoft titles including Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla among others were having issues on the 24H2 version of Windows 11 since November and Ubisoft has finally confirmed in those games’ Steam page that all of those problems have been fixed with the latest patch they’ve just released for those titles. This is clearly a welcome news for anyone looking to play those games on Windows 11, as now they can finally get them to run as they’re meant to, without being interrupted by any Operating system woes which are always annoying and unfortunate.

“Hello everyone, we have just deployed a new title update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” Ubisoft said on the game’s Steam page, along with a similar update on Origins’. “This patch fixes compatibility issues with Windows 11 update 24H2.”

Those ‘compatibility issues’ include some game-breaking annoyances like those games crashing every few minutes and more. In fact, Ubisoft’s Star Wars: Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora both got affected by the same issues as well but the publisher had released fixes for those games that rectified those in a fairly short time while it’s only the Assassin’s Creed games where those problems had continued to persist for well over a month.

In fact, user’s getting plagued by those problems had also review-bombed Assassin’s Creed Origins in order to urge Ubisoft to take action for fixing those issues. But thankfully all of the problems are gone and players will never have to face those issues in future.

However, the problems continue to persist with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey which is still not fixed as of yet but here’s hoping the publisher releases a fix for it too in the near future. Ubisoft hasn’t spoken how long it will take, though.

These issues continues to add to the recent string of disappointing news for Ubisoft, once considered an Industry giant. But the company is looking to turn things around with their upcoming and highly anticipated title, Assassin’s Creed Shadows which is slated to be released on March 20.
