Wuthering Waves Reveals Sanhua’s New Skin and Other Exciting Updates in Version 2.0

Wuthering Waves has officially confirmed the much-anticipated arrival of Sanhua’s new skin in its upcoming Version 2.0 update. This fresh outfit, which will be free to obtain, marks a significant milestone as one of the game’s first alternate skins introduced since its launch in May 2024. Joining Sanhua’s new skin is Jinhsi, another fan-favorite character, which would be receiving a premium outfit, extending the customization options for players.

The 2.0 patch for Wuthering Waves promises many new content, with Rinascita taking center stage. Players can expect a variety of additions, including fresh characters, Echoes, and engaging quests. While Rinascita is undeniably the highlight, the update also brings some noteworthy upgrades for Huanglong faction characters. Notably, Jinhsi’s premium outfit features more than just a visual overhaul, offering updated combat animations and an alternate weapon design, making it a must-have for collectors.

Sanhua’s new outfit, “Exorcistic Adjuration,” brings an ethereal aesthetic with its Yaksha-inspired mask and a striking white-and-turquoise dress. Unlike Jinhsi’s premium skin, this outfit doesn’t include additional combat or gameplay updates. However, players can snag Sanhua’s new skin for free by participating in the “Dance for Spring’s Return” event, which will run from January 23 to February 13, 2025.

Here’s how to earn Sanhua’s new skin:

• Reach Union Level 14: Players need to achieve this milestone to unlock the event rewards.
• Complete Daily Invitations: Send a specified number of daily invitations to Companions to progress in the event.
  In addition to the skin, participants can earn Crystal Solvent and valuable EXP materials.

After the event concludes, the skin will be available for purchase in the in-game outfit store for 1680 Lunites, offering players another chance to add it to their collection.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.0 is set to launch on January 2, 2025, with developer Kuro Games introducing significant features and quality-of-life improvements. Alongside Rinascita, leaks hint at exciting changes, such as a gender-switch option for the protagonist and enhanced visual effects for all characters. Furthermore, banners during the update will spotlight Sanhua, giving players an opportunity to collect her Sequence Nodes.

With the 2.0 update shaping up to be the most ambitious patch since the game’s release, fans have plenty to look forward to as they step into the expanding world of Solaris-3.
