New Double XP Event Coming to Black Ops 6

One of the best features in Black Ops 6 is the Double XP tokens – which can be obtained through Double XP events or via the game’s store – that allow players to get double the amount of XP they gain in Multiplayer at the end of every match. Double XP tokens are time-limited, hence why they expire after a given period after which players continue to earn normal XP from matches.

Regularly, Treyarch releases Double XP events for Black Ops 6 for fans to earn Double XP from playing the Multiplayer modes. The most recent of these Double XP events was the one held in December 13, after which players complained about the Double XP providing them with 1.5x the original XP gained in opposition to the 2x XP that was advertised. This led to a widespread backlash from annoyed players on various social platforms.

That aside, there’s a new Double XP event coming up on December 24 which surprisingly hasn’t been announced by Treyarch. However, the upcoming Double XP event can be looked up in Black Ops 6’s in-game event calendar. Just like past Double XP events in Black Ops 6 that included Double Weapon XP, Double Battle Pass XP, and Double GobbleGum earn rate, players expect the same from the coming Double XP event.

With an issue currently presiding over the Double XP in Black Ops 6, players are unaware whether the coming Double XP event would help resolve it or not as Treyarch has provided no details of the event. But fans hope for that to be the case. Double XP is a great way for Black Ops 6 players to grind for XP to level up to Prestige. That said, with the event being released a day before the Holidays, fans can expect to have fun grinding for rewards and higher levels for their weapons and ranks while enjoying the Holidays to their fullest.
