Earth Defense Force 6 has been out for over a month now and D3Publisher wants those who have yet to enlist to know how much fun they are missing out on. The latest installment in the ongoing sci-fi third person shooter series has managed to entertain fans with its engaging classic style (and often so-bad-it’s-good dialogue), a sentiment we echoed in our own review. Now, Private First Class Chad Brosef is here to highlight praise EDF 6 garnered from critics.
Even this new accolades trailer sports that signature B-movie charm, as Brosef points out such glowing remarks labeling the game as “stupid fun” and the “best one yet.” Of course, these commendations are all in service of pushing for what the Earth Defense Force really needs: more recruits. While many of us have spent time blasting ants, frogs, UFOs and more, there are still plenty out there who have yet to join the ranks of this elite, international armed force.
Choosing to join now still comes with added benefits, aside from the joy of simply getting to play the game. Snag Earth Defense Force 6 on PC or PlayStation by December 24, 2024 and you will be rewarded with early purchase bonus DLC. This includes the Ranger Weapons: Soldier Recruiter Decoy Decoy Takanashi Kiara / Gawr Gura / IRyS and the Air Raider Boarding Weapons: Powered Exoskeleton Nix Metal Coat. Buyers of the PlayStation-exclusive deluxe edition will also get the Ranger Boarding Weapons: Blacker No. 6.
