Sony revealed their PlayStation Plus Essential offerings for Sept. 2024, which includes Quidditch Champions, and other heavy hitters.
Headlining the month is the day one addition of Quidditch Champions on PlayStation 4/5. Taking place in the Harry Potter universe, Quidditch Champions hopes to allow players to experience this whimsical game. The game allows players to be a Chaser, Seeker, Keeper, or Beater, each with their own unique style of play.
To help take the experience to the next level, there is a career mode, along with solo, up to three player co-op, and even PVP. To make things even better, it was confirmed there will be no microtransactions in Quidditch Champions, unique unlocks for linking a Harry Potter Fan Club and WB Games accounts account, and a brief roadmap of what to expect in the near future.
It will be exciting to see what the upcoming four events, and two main seasons bring to the table. It’s also great to know an expanded 6-player PVP mode is in the works for those who really want to test their skills.
Joining it is MLB The Show 24 for PlayStation 4/5. The beloved baseball franchise offers the usual career mode, and a wide number of refinements fans will appreciate.
Rounding out the month is Little Nightmares II on PlayStation 4/5. The sequel earned a wide range of praise for taking the original to the next level. Not only is this a great addition for those looking to experience the beloved horror franchise, it comes at a time when Tarsier Studios next title, Reanimal, was just revealed, along with footage of Supermassive Games take on the franchise with Little Nightmares III.
