GTA+ Subscription Service Might Launch on Nintendo Switch

Rockstar Games might soon bring its popular GTA+ subscription service to the Nintendo Switch. This development follows a brief update on Rockstar’s official website, listing the Switch as a platform for GTA+. Although the mention was quickly removed, it sparked speculation about an upcoming announcement.

GTA+ has been available on PlayStation and Xbox since its launch in March 2022. The service offers members access to a rotating selection of Rockstar titles, including LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption, and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition, all of which are already on the Switch. Subscribers also get exclusive in-game perks for GTA Online, such as extra cash, cars, cosmetics, and special events.

The possibility of GTA+ on the Switch raises questions about the availability of GTA 5 on the platform. Currently, GTA 5 is not on the Nintendo Switch, making the GTA+ benefits for GTA Online irrelevant for Switch users. This could indicate Rockstar’s plans to either bring GTA 5 to the Switch or its successor, which is expected to be announced by March 2025.
