The Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense will launch on September 6, coinciding with the game’s release. This controller is priced at $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99 and will be available in limited quantities. Pre-orders start on August 9 through PlayStation Direct in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal.

The controller design takes inspiration from Astro’s Dual Speeder spaceship, featuring blue accents on the handles and buttons, carved sci-fi lines, and Astro’s eyes on the touchpad.

Nicolas Doucet, studio head at Team Asobi, shared that the controller was carefully crafted to capture the essence of Astro Bot. He praised the design team for their splendid work on this project. Fans of the game will appreciate the intricate details and the controller’s connection to the beloved character.

The new controller will also utilize the advanced features of the DualSense. Players will experience enhanced haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, making gameplay more immersive. The design and functionality aim to bring a dynamic and interactive experience to players, enhancing the fun of playing Astro Bot.
