Nintendo has confirmed its next Nintendo Direct presentation will be on June 18th. The event will begin at 7 AM PT and last for about 40 minutes. Fans can watch the live stream on Nintendo’s YouTube channel. The presentation will focus on games releasing in the second half of 2024.
Nintendo has stated there will be no information on the next console during this event. The company had previously announced a June Direct, but only recently confirmed the exact date. Nintendo’s upcoming schedule for 2024 remains largely unknown, but expectations are high for new game announcements.
The Direct might reveal updates for popular games like Among Us. Fans are also eager to hear about the status of Metroid Prime 4, a game first announced in 2017. Nintendo restarted its development in 2019, and its release date is still a mystery.
With the Nintendo Switch in its seventh year, the company is focusing on current system releases. The much-anticipated successor to the Switch is expected to be announced before April 2025. For now, fans are excited to see what new games Nintendo has in store for the rest of the year.
