The store will be part of The Co-Worker Game, a virtual universe debuting in Roblox on June 24. According to IKEA’s announcement, this game gives players the opportunity to experience IKEA’s unique approach to careers, where non-linear career journeys and lateral moves across departments are common.

Applications for these roles are now open and will close on June 16. IKEA is offering 10 roles, allowing applicants to flex their skills, help customers, and get promoted just like in the real world. Successful candidates will need to pass a virtual interview held between June 14 and 18. The exact salary for these virtual roles remains unclear.
