Gunnar Optiks Reveals Clear Pro Lens with “Unparalleled Color Accuracy”

Gunnar Optiks expands their blue-light lens offerings to include Clear Pro, a lens design to provide “perfect color rendition.”

Clear Pro represents 10 years of optical research design to correct the slight amber tint found on Clear 35. In doing so, it allows creative professionals the opportunity to reducing blue light exposure by 20 percent without it negatively impacting their job.

GUNNAR Optiks CEO and Co-Founder, Joe Croft, added the following statement about Clear Pro.

Clear Pro represents the next step for creative professionals who need to combat digital eye strain without compromising craft.

Press Release

At launch Clear Pro will be available exclusively on their Arbor collection, which was also announced. This line will include two frames, Muir and Humboldt, made from sustainably harvested ebony wood with a carbon fiber inner layer. Both frames are part of their “Legendary” tier, and boast flexible spring hinges, G-Shield Premium Lens coatings.

Keeping with the sustainability theme, the Arbor Collection also includes an “Eco-Friendly” case, cleaning cloth, and pouch. Either style can be purchased from Gunnar directly, with prices starting at $119.

Fans of the style will also be able to pick up Muir and Humboldt with sunglasses, or Amber 65 lens.

Finally, anyone curious about how these perform can check back in a couple weeks for our full review of Clear Pro.
